Students from my Monday class asking to stay for my last class on Tuesday (it was nice having someone else keep score!!).

Whole class singing Happy Birthday to one of their classmates at the beginning of class.
"Guys, I will take your phones away today! Please put them away!" *student in the way back who always does my activities* "Samaah!" *waves phone at me and makes a show of placing it in the far corner of his desk* Student asking me how I always stay so positive. New students coming to join BEST!
Most of the team coming to practice! Having tea and biscuits at our practice while everyone went around and talked about their feedback and what they thought of the competition. Team Dinner: My team correcting me as I tried to read them the menu in Bulgarian, teaching me random words in Bulgarian, asking me and Caroline questions about America.
Competition: Buying snacks with my team, and them asking if I have tried Aryan, lutenitsa, banitsa, and other popular Bulgarian foods, and telling me they'd show me how to make others. My team coming to find me between events to tell me how they did, and ask me to come watch them. Watching my team cheer each other on and support each other as some advanced. Three of my students searching for me because I had switched judging shifts and hadn't told them, just for them to find me and let me know (and it's honestly not a big deal) (and really don't worry about it) that "your name means alone". Two students asked if I could meet to help them with a project about the Civil War. We talked about American history, and they explained Bulgarian history and when they learn about it. One of my students told me she did not understand the concept of the Civil War (i.e. the US fighting itself rather than an outside party) and explained how she understood it (or did not understand it) in relation to Bulgarian wars. It was a serious conversation to start, but we ended up talking about holidays both in the US and Bulgaria. We tried picking a Name Day for me, but ran out of time as they were only late for their first class! I had not had a chance to speak to these students much in the class I have with them, so it was really nice to chat about projects.
Student from 8E gave me one of his chocolates before class. Not for his name day or birthday, but "just because".
I surprised all of my classes (except my Monday classes as class was cancelled for the election, sorry guys!!) with pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin muffins! We played taboo, charades, and hot seat with Halloween vocabulary.
A student from 8A brought caution tape in and covered my desk in it, and proceeded to wrap himself in toilet paper as a mummy for the rest of class. My 9ж class's teacher invited me to teach one of their classes on Halloween since we missed class Monday. Most of the class dressed up for Halloween (and were disappointed I didn't oops). But they did proceed to do each others Halloween makeup for the entire class. My BEST team had a Halloween party! I brought pumpkin treats, and the rest of the team brought cookies drinks and cake. We had a mummy making contest, oreo balancing test, and they did each others Halloween make up! I held a Halloween Spooky Story writing contest against my classes with a winning class from 8th grade and 9th grade. A few of my students ended their stories along the lines of, "That's my story Samaah, I hope you like it!"
